Q:
How should I dress?
A:
The dress for class is casual. (Most people wear business casual attire.) Please
keep in mind that the class is conducted in an air conditioned room, so a removable
sweater or jacket is recommended. In the afternoon, the room tends to heat up
with the computers running.
Q:
What time does the class start?
A:
Registration is from 8:00 am - 8:30 am. Class runs from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. There
is a one hour lunch break around noon and there are several short breaks throughout
the day.

What should I bring?
A:
The materials for the class are provided with the exception of writing implements.
A highlighter, pen and pencil are recommended.
Q:
Can I bring my lunch?
A:
Yes! A microwave and compact refrigerator are available for your use while attending
class. There are also lots of restaurants
close by, some within walking distance.
Q:
Where can I go for lunch?
A: There are many restaurants
close by and several within walking distance. Names you might recognize include
TGI Fridays, Olive Garden, Lone Star, Chi-Chi's, Friendly's, McDonald's, and Red
Lobster, along with a number of local eateries, as well as the food court at the
Berkshire Mall.
Q:
Is any advance preparation required?
A:
No advance preparation is required in order to attend a class. However, for some classes, a prerequisite is stated, primarily to ensure that you have the background knowledge needed for a successful class experience. For example, a prerequisite for the ‘advanced’ Crystal Reports class is attendance at the ‘introductory’ Crystal Reports class.

Can I record the class?
A:
No. The use of audio or video recorders is not permitted.
Q:
How is the class structured? May I talk one-on-one with the instructor?
A:
Sure! The class will take several short breaks throughout the day, and there is
a one hour lunch break around noon. The instructors are available to answer your
questions at the breaks and can also meet with you individually after class.
Q:
Can I get CPE credits?
A:
Yes. Please refer to the class schedule for information about the CPE credits
offered with each class. Kissinger Associates is a member of
the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.
Q:
How do I get to the Training Center?
A:
You can use our directions page to
get driving directions to the Training Center, or consult the hotels
page for information on local airports.
Q:
Do the hotels provide transportation?
A:
Some of the area hotels provide airport shuttles, others will also provide a shuttle
to the training center and back. Please consult the hotels
page for more information.
Q:
Do the hotels have discounted rates? Are they close?
A:
Yes! The hotel information listed here
will provide you with a general comparison of the offerings of each hotel. We
have chosen not to publish their rates, as they can change without notice, but
the first three listed offer a special rate for Kissinger students. Please mention
that you are taking a Kissinger training class when making reservations at these
hotels. All are close to the training center (see approximate distances).
Q:
What is the class cancellation policy?
A: If you
find it necessary to cancel or reschedule, you must notify Kissinger Associates,
Inc. two weeks prior to the class date to avoid loss of tuition.
If
attendance is cancelled or rescheduled less than two weeks in advance, you will
be charged 50% of the tuition price. Student registrations cancelled with less
than 24 hours notice or no-shows will forfeit their tuition.
Substitution
of students is allowed at no charge.
Classes
are subject to cancellation. If Kissinger Associates, Inc. cancels a class,
you will be notified two weeks in advance of the start of the class. If cancelled
all tuition will be refunded or applied to another class, based on your preference.
Kissinger Associates is not responsible for non-refundable airline tickets or
other travel expenses incurred due to cancellation. For

Q:
Can my office or family get in touch with me while I'm at class?
A: Yes!
If your office or family needs you while you are attending class, they may call
800-562-5456 or 610-926-7450 and ask the receptionist to have you contact
them. The receptionist will get a message to you via our trainer.
