Union Automation:
Sage 100 (MAS 90/200) Integration
Payroll
Union Automation is tightly integrated with the Sage 100 (formerly MAS 90 or 200) Payroll module. As a result, the installation of Union Automation adds new items to the Payroll menu system so that all Union Automation processing steps can be performed within your familiar Payroll module workflow.
General Ledger
When integrated with the Sage 100 General Ledger module, Union Automation posts all union earnings, union deductions, and union fringe benefits directly to the General Ledger for both computer-generated and handwritten checks.
Job Cost
If your Payroll module is integrated with the Sage 100 Job Cost module, and Job Cost is set to 'post to work in progress', General Ledger postings are based on the Job Number and Cost Code entered in Payroll Data Entry.
Union Automation determines by Cost Type which General Ledger Work In Progress account number to post to for all the standard payroll earnings. Union fringe benefits are created as a Labor or Burden cost type and are posted to the appropriate Jobs using the Cost Code entered in Labor Code Maintenance, established within each Union Code.
When integrated with the Job Cost module, Union Automation posts actual union burden directly to each job from the employee earnings information. Job Cost information is posted to Job Cost from the Payroll Data Entry Check Register/Update programs.
